Persona

~
"Ah yes, Ser Marojha. A kind and gentle soul you would do well not to underestimate. Rare is it that one has a heart filled with equal bravery and kindness. Even to those who would draw steel, he'd sooner show unconditional warmth and love than bloodshed. ...though, one may have to excuse his tendency to be scatterbrained."

Hooks

Canon Adjacent

  • After Garlemald withdrew from Othard, Tali'ra traveled to the continent to research Ivalice in Dalmasca. Learning of the conflict in Bozja, he initially volunteered as a healer but later used his expertise as a historian to catalogue, recover, and advise on protective measures of Bozja's culturally significant architecture and art in hopes it would ease the burden on Bozja's people during the war's aftermath when they could finally rebuild.

  • When the Ilsabard Contingent requested aid from the Bozjan Resistance, Tali'ra volunteered to join the few the resistance could spare, lending his healing talents to benefit both the contingent and any surviving Garlean citizens.

Personal Plot

  • His fascination with Ivalice stems from his love of history and desire to learn its lost Arithmetick magical arts.

  • During the Seventh Umbral Calamity, Tali'ra lost his older brothers Tali'li and Tali'sae. Tali'li went missing after the Battle of Carteneau, while Tali'sae left to find him after the the dust cleared. Their fates remain a mystery, but Tali'ra hopes for closure despite expecting the worst.

  • He dreams one day he can open a school with education opportunities for all, regardless of their race, nationality, and age. Until then, he'll gladly teach anyone with the desire to learn.

Casual

  • He loves games and is quite skilled at them; Triple Triad, Doman Mahjong, Kharaqiq, and especially puzzle toys and boxes. As a result, it's not uncommon that he is asked to leave the Gold Saucer when he starts winning too much.

  • He works part time for The First Edition, assisting visitors who are looking for just the right book. He also does book repairs, translations and scribing book copies (Non published materials only).

  • While Tali'ra loves books of all kind, a huge guilty pleasure of his is romance novels, be they literary classics or trashy pulp fiction.

OOC Notes

  • I usually RP within the realm of canon compliant and adjacent. Tali'ra isn't a WoL nor does he even know them, but he reacts and participates in the world's events as established by the MSQ.

  • Open to romantic encounters for Tali'ra, though in regards to anything 18+ (ie. ERP), chances are slim to none, so best to have no expectations there.

  • Additionally, do note that Tali'ra is incredibly dense when it comes to matters of romance and will act accordingly, but don't mistake that for not wanting to engage with it. If that were the case, I'll say so OOCly.

  • Prefers RP in game, willing to take it outside the game (Discord, Telegram, etc) however I tend to be quite private and careful when sharing outside contact info, so please respect that!
